About Andrew

Andrew Carpenter is the General Counsel leading Future Planet Capital’s legal operations. Andrew is an English-qualified solicitor with extensive experience in cross-border and domestic private company M&A for corporates, private equity, venture capital investors and UHNW individuals. Andrew also has experience in advising funds and transactional risk underwriting (W&I insurance) for underwriters.

Andrew’s career in private practice included equity partner roles with global law firms, during which he opened and managed offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Muscat, Doha and Dubai.

Previously, Andrew served as a Partner with DWF in the London corporate group, where he spent three years leading their advisory team for Future Planet Capital. Before joining DWF, Andrew played a pivotal role at Addleshaw Goddard, where he served as international division managing partner. Throughout his career, Andrew has built an impressive network of relationships with Tier 1 lawyers across the globe.

As a former pharmaceutical research chemist, Andrew has always had an interest in the application of science and technology for the benefit of all.

He also holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Liverpool, and Law Society Finals, 1st Class Honours  from Nottingham Trent University.
