About Griff

Griff was Founder and CIO at Milltrust Agricultural Investments (MAI), with primary responsibility for advising Milltrust International LLP, the investment manager, on portfolios investing in Australasia agriculture. He led the establishment of the British Innovation Fund venture capital portfolio. MAI was acquired by Future Planet Capital in 2021.

Griff resides in New Zealand where he has farming interests in the dairy, sheep and beef sectors and is an investor in early stage Agtech.

Prior to establishing MAI, Griff was Head of Europe and CEO at Itaú Asset Management in London. Previous to this he was Institutional Solutions strategist at Pioneer Global Investments in London and prior to that Investment Director for Railpen Investments, one of the UK’s largest Pension Funds where he managed the global equities portfolio.

Griff is a Non-Executive Director of Roslin Technologies Limited. He is a shareholder and consults to Future Planet Capital on Agriculture and University Venture. Griff is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University, Wellington.
