About abi

Abi Wye is Network Director at Future Planet Capital with a focus on Thought Leadership and Advisor and Stakeholder Communications.

Abi has been part of the team from the very beginning, helping the fund grow to over $400m in committed capital today. Through her role she manages a network of high-profile influencers, industry practitioners and technical experts central to Future Planet Capital's unique innovation investment strategy. Abi coordinates the Investment Governance Board which is comprised of leading international experts and she heads up the company’s communications which also includes investment strategies.

Abi brings significant experience of working with international leaders, governments, NGOs and HNWIs to the role. She previously worked in 10 Downing Street as Political Private Secretary to the Rt. Hon David Cameron, British Prime Minister. Before this she was based in the House of Commons assisting Rt. Hon Stephen Crabb MP. During her work for Stephen Crabb she co-ordinated Project Umubano in Rwanda and Sierra Leone, which encouraged volunteers to visit Africa and helped over 350 fledgling businesses.

Outside of work, Abi is an avid traveller with her young family. She is based between London, South Wales and the French Alps.
