Future Planet Capital started in 2016 with a $20m fund and the idea that the greatest challenges of our time will be solved by exceptional people with access to capital.

We had no endowment, no early windfall. We built the firm the hard way, and today oversee c. $570m across 300+ investments, including 60 realised exits and a track record of backing important British technology companies and founders from pre-seed to Series B+*. 

The British Co-Investment Fund is the next chapter. Backed by UK pension funds, it exists to align the people of the UK with the companies that will define its future. We’ve built it to ensure that Britain’s most ambitious founders have a capital partner willing to back them from the first cheque to the global stage.

We are deploying now. Into the sectors the UK does better than anywhere: life sciences, climate technology, advanced computing, AI, semiconductors, fusion energy, security, engineering. The companies inventing new medicines, new energy systems, new materials, new ways of processing the world. 

We’re looking to invest into two types of companies:

1) Growth: Series B+ compounding businesses, scaling rapidly with breakthrough technology

2) Early: Rapid pre-seed and seed cheques for iconoclastic founders
